End of year meme: 2008

I did this meme a few years back and thought it would be fun to do again... (all the first sentences from each month of the year from your blog). I first saw it at Dr. Brazen's Hussy's in 2006.

January 2008: We made it back to Small College Town last night and I am just trying to unpack and get organized today.

February 2008: I'm sorry I've been such a bad blogger of late.

March 2008: Well, I am really terrible at keeping secrets- about myself, anyway.

April 2008: I WISH this was an April's Fools joke, but I had a VERY stressful morning.

May 2008: D lost her 10th tooth today- her first upper canine.

June 2008: Last Friday, I went on a walking field trip with D's class (and the other 2nd grade classes).

July 2008: I just have to share an email I found this morning when I woke up.

August 2008: Oh dear. I have over 300 unread posts in my Google Reader feed, which means that I will end up skimming them. 

September 2008: You may recall the RA drama of last spring, where a new student committed to taking my RA position and coming to Small College Town U. 

October 2008: Things are NOT going well with my RA and I need to have a chat with him/her.

November 2008: It's just after midnight here, but since we are turning our clocks back tonight, let's just pretend that it's 11:06 instead, OK?

December 2008: Nothing too exciting going on around here.

Well, I think this is pretty representative of my year- although the official tenure notification didn't show up in here. How was your year? Do your first sentences cover it pretty well?
