Semi-productive day

Well, I didn't get a whole lot done, but did revise a map for a manuscript revision and sent some scatterplots to my collaborator. I also did some organization things and posted some readings for my class. I'm not going to beat myself up over it, because I am so looking forward to having a break.

We are meeting with our architect tomorrow to see what ideas he has for our remodeling plans. I don't think I ever told you peeps about this, did I? We still want to finish our basement and add a master bath upstairs, but don't know how easy it will be to borrow money right now. Because the upstairs remodeling is pretty major, we have hired an architect. He is coming tomorrow with preliminary plans, so that should be fun to see what ideas he has.

I got a call from my good friend, S, tonight who finally defended her PhD. I'm so happy for her. She didn't really need the degree any more, but it was hanging over her head for a long time. I didn't even know she had scheduled her defense, because she didn't tell anyone! I miss her. I hope I get to see her soon.

I guess these could/should have been bullets. Oh well.

It seems you got *some* stuff done... the right type of stuff for those days that lack motivation ;)

Good luck with the architect!

My bullets definitely kicked butt yesterday :)

Yah, it seems like you were productive. Dealing with remodeling is a lot of work.

Can't wait to hear about all the new changes.
