I am just ecstatic today. I still can't even believe it. To make it even better, we passed a local school levy (which almost never win here). D will get to go to a NEW high school in a few years (not the 50-year-old one we have now). What a great day!!
ETA: Apparently, there are still PAPER ballots (we use touch screen machines here, but they also make paper available to those who choose it) that hadn't been included in the tally that I saw- the school levy may be defeated after all. No news yet, but the margin was so small that I suspect it actually failed. I'm so depressed...
