Yes, they can be loud, but they live on the farm behind us, so we don't hear them too much (or too loudly). The biggest nuisance they pose is their pooping all over the front porch and deck. After they left the other day (when I took the pictures), they left a "treasure" for us. Lovely. H claims it's my fault, since I feed them birdseed.
