Advice to my students...
Don't ask for extra time on an assignment for which I have already extended the deadline by five days. It makes you look really irresponsible- especially when you are a senior.

I vote "lazy" and "incompetent."
I gave a class essentially 2 extra weeks once [to avoid them having to work over spring break].
I got the biggest load of stinking garbage you could imagine.
