At least James Hansen is getting some press about it today. I'm encouraged that I only heard about Griffin's statement in the context of others in NASA and folks in NOAA saying, basically "What the F*&%?!?"

“I guess I would ask which human beings, where and when, are to be accorded the privilege of deciding that this particular climate that we have right here today, right now, is the best climate for all other human beings. I think that’s a rather arrogant position for people to take,” Griffin said.

Holy crap, what a nutjob! Well, let's see. When there are droughts in half the world and floods in the other, no food growing, and temperatures at either 30F or 90F and nothing in between, I think it's fair to say that these are not the ideal conditions for human beings to live in.
